Lasting Memories of Walchand ...

 

Preface - The blog highlights the bond between us i.e. the students and the college where we studied. The lockdown has swallowed our joys and sorrows during the last days of graduation at the college. But, the memories lasts forever. This blog depicts those memories in simple english words. I would like to thank my college, BTech CSE (The class of 2020) & all associated entities for the best memories.

This blog is dedicated to everybody in the graduation journey at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.

Lasting Memories of Walchand ...

 

         

                                                                         

        JEE, CET preparations started with 

            IITs, NITs & COEP as the aim.

        But applications flooded to DTE 

            and Walchand was the claim ! 😄

        Leaving alone from home in hostel

            was the first time scene.

        The huge contrast in two 

            birthday celebrations, we have seen 😂

         APM, Civil, Physics initiated FY with 

            Grahics designed the ways .. 

        Clubs caught the eye with 

            Powar & Madhale made our days 😅

        Now it was the time,

            here slowy things began to unfold 

        A seamless race started

            as if a dice had been rolled 

 

        The most crucial year started 

            wish, we could capture it in a snap.

        Projects, Hackathons, Placements 

            like events caught us in a trap !

        We entered in a phase now, 

            where we thought it measures how

            much an engineer can fly. 

        It was the most uncertain time 

            which made even a strongest to cry.

        Those were the placement days 

            with TPO, Tilak hall & CCF as a home. 

        Each rejection broke out the heart 

            but one needed to face it alone. 

        It was the time when we had exams,

            we used to study late at night, 

        Maggies, 'Lipton cha chaha' and 

            'Manju che Pohe' worked as a sprite. 

        Study-room, LAN and Mini was 

            like a heaven for a CS guy

        Wandering round the walking track, 

            always filled us with a joy !

        Playing Rangpanchami in the mud, 

            Passionate dancing on Ganesh Jayanti 

            and Planning for IVs,

        This is the treasure we collected here 

            but sadly, have lost its keys 😓

        Through early months, we strived to find faces, 

            but each one was new,

        No one knew he could find those after years, 

            but a very few !

        My Walchand is forest, 

            blessed with natural beauty of greenary ..

        Mango, jamun, tamarind, ber trees, snakes, 

        monkeys, peacocks & mongoose 

            adding to the scenary.

        This WCE is a heart full of memories 

            which everyone wants to renew,

        But the truth, it's a cricket 

            match without a single review !

        My Walchand is not a four years story, 

            it is a life-driven.

        Nothing is more precious 

            than this life has given !
